BBL Lions continue hex over Towers
A superb second-half rally saw the Milton Keynes Lions record an 80-76 win over Haribo London Towers - the Lions' second home win over the Towers this season.
Towers looked set to carry over their winning ways from Saturday's Trophy semi-finals and led 25-41 at half-time following an 18-4 scoring streak. But the Lions hit back in the third with runs of 14-4 and 11-4 to level matters at 57-57 going into the fourth period.
Lions scored the first ten points of the final quarter and despite the Towers cutting the lead to 73-69 with a minute remaining, Lions hung on.
Lions' Eric Burks scored a game-high 23 points, with Danny Lewis hitting 19 for the Towers.
