Coach-less Lions devour sad Leopards

Milton Keynes Lions collected their fourth Dairylea Dunkers Championship win in a row with a 93-82 victory over Southern Conference rivals adidas London Leopards.

Despite missing Coach Tom Hancock, who has had to return home to America for three weeks for family reasons, and guard Modie Cox (flu), the Lions had a 13-0 tear around the first break to take the lead.

Former Leopard guard Eric Burks had 25 points against his old club who trailed 45-40 at half-time and despite a joint game-high 26 points from his replacement Jason Kimbrough, the Essex outfit could not come back from five points third quarter deficit.

Lions Tony Windless led the way with 26 points for his side who condemned the visitors to a eighth loss in nine starts.
