Bunton snaps Derby's skid

Derby Storm shook off a four game losing spell by taking a narrow 88-91 win at Milton Keynes on Sunday, putting Martin Ford's malcontent side just one win from the play-offs.

Storm, who have been beset by the apparent lethargy of some of their imported players in recent weeks, looked set for another defeat when they entered the final quarter at Bletchey behind 73-66.

But in the final quarter, as they scored 11 unanswered points to take a 75-77 lead. The advantage changed hands a further four times, before Cypheus Bunton scored the final basket with 30 seconds remaining. Lions' hopes of overtime
were dashed by three missed three pointers in the dying seconds.

Cypheus Bunton led all scorers with 26 points, while Eric Burks was the Lions' best scorer with 21 points.
