BBL Hairston keeps Giants run alive
Roy Hairston led all scorers with 20 points as Manchester Giants posted their seventeenth straight Dairylea Dunkers Championship win with a 92-69 success against the Lions at MEN Arena.
The result sees Nick Nurse's men move six points clear of closest rivals Sheffield at the top of the Northern Conference.
Giants were always in control after taking a 32-19 lead at the end of the high-scoring first quarter, and stretched their advantage out in the second half. Tony Windless top scored with 16 points for the visitors, who were once again without coach Tom Hancock.
