Dorsey lifts Giants to Riders romp
Renault Leicester Riders coach Tim Darling rang the changes ahead of his team's tough Northern Conference duel with Manchester Giants at MEN Arena on Saturday night.
Leading scorer John Potter was cut from the team and his former team-mates came out in fighting spirit. The Riders trailed only by five points at half time to their hosts, threatening to pull off an upset first win of the campaign.
But Giants stepped up a gear, particularly Tony Dorsey who hit 23 points and 13 rebounds to maintain his side's unbeaten record with a 76-63 victory.
Rob Wilson's 16 points lead the Riders offense.
