BBL Sharks close with 17-2 run to beat Riders
It was not to be unlucky 13 for Sheffield Sharks on Friday night as the Yorkshiremen extended their winning streak to 14 with a 102-112 win over Leicester Riders at Granby Halls.
The Sharks, led by 33 points from Terrell Myers and 31 from Nate Reinking, trailed narrowly for most of the game after finishing the opening quarter up 20-21.
Riders, led by 21 points from Rob Wilson, had looked like causing an upset leading 100-95 with 2 minutes remaining but Chris Finch's men came good in the closing stages, outscoring the Riders 2-17 to close out the game and move level with Manchester on points at the head of the Northern Conference table.
