Tolka Rovers were unlucky not to pull of a shock defeat of league leaders Neptune in Glasnevin today.    Tolka played superb defence against the table toppers and were leading by 6pts for most of the second half.  Tolka lost Paddy Boylan to five fouls early in the 4th quarter and he proved a big loss for the Dublin club.  Tolka were in team fouls early in the fourth quarter as opposed to Neptune who only drew five fouls in the second half - three of these from Stephen McCarthy who fouled out of the game for Neptune.  With 23 seconds to go in the game the sides were level and Tolka held possession when Randal Mounts was called for travelling giving Neptune vital possession.  With 1 second remaining on the clock, Jon D'Orlando was fouled by Mounts on the shot.  He made the shot and the bonus to give Neptune a 3pt victory and the vital 2pts that keeps them clear of Denny at the top of the table.
