BBL Jets prolong Storm's play-off wait
Chester Jets extended Derby Storm's - and Edinburgh Rocks' - wait to confirm their now inevitable play-off place for at least another 48 hours by breaking an eight game losing stretch at the Thunderdome on Friday night.
Robbie Peers' men dominated the Storm before winning 89-106, as Greg Francis burst out for a game-high 32 points.
Storms' Darrian Evans leapt out of the blocks rattling off the opening 8 points of the game as his side rushed into a 10-0 lead but after the Jets started the 2nd quarter with a 2-8 burst to tie the game at 30-30 the Storm were never in front again.
The visitors had compiled an 11 points lead at half-time and a lethargic home side could not find a response despite Evans 27 point haul.
