BBL Hamilton guides Jets back to winning ways
James Hamilton inspired the Chester Jets to their first win in six games, as they defeated the Newcastle Eagles 92-75 at the Northgate Arena in a clash between fifth and sixth in the Northern Conference.
Hamilton accompanied his 29 points with 11 boards to help the Jets to win the game which the hosts had dominated for the second half. Eagles had led briefly in the early stages, but a 15-6 start to the final quarter by the Jets, followed up by a 10-3 tear later on, saw them home.
Greg Francis was also in fine scoring form, bagging 24 points, while the best the Eagles - who dropped their third straight - managed was 15 points from Ralph Blalock.
