BBL Brighton dig deep to deny Tigers
Driver Brighton Bears recorded a shock 94-83 victory over the Thames Valley Tigers on Saturday night at the Brighton Centre on Sky TV.
The Bears rattled off the final seven points of the 3rd quarter to force a 65-59 lead and sealed the victory by outscoring the Tigers 10-1 to give them a double figure advantage at 82-69 with 5 minutes remaining.
Tigers Tony Christie top scored with 29 points including 6 of 8 three pointers while Jon Gaines had 27 points for the Bears.
