Scants sets Sharks up for win in Brighton

If Peter Scantlebury was bearing some family grudge about brother Richard's release from Brighton last week then he made his point on court.
Westfield Sharks Sheffield, led by a 15 points from Scantlebury senior, closed the gap to just four points on the Manchester Giants at the top of the Dairylea Dunkers Northern Conference with a convincing 59-89 defeat of the Driver Brighton Bears.

After leading by seven points at the break, Sharks posted a 12-27 third quarter to finally see off some dogged Bears resistance and move 44-66 clear. Earlier the Bears had fought back from an early 14-24 deficit to trail just 26-30 after a three pointer by Michael Brown but they could not avoid a second successive loss.

Charles Claxton and Jan Trojanowski each had 15 for Brighton.
