BBL Lions break losing streak to send Bears to basement
Brighton Bears fell to a 58-84 loss to Milton Keynes Lions at the Triangle this evening, to finish the season bottom of the Southern Conference.
Lions led by ten points at half-time at 36-26 and a 14-2 run early on in the third extended their lead out to 50-31. Despite a string of three pointers from Jon Gaines and Michael Brown, the Lions were not challenged to break a four game losing streak heading into their play-off opener with Manchester.
Gaines finished with 14 points for Bears, but Broderick Bobb led all scorers with 19.
