Leopards finally break December duck

The BBL's two most off-form teams clashed heads in Brighton and one of them was guaranteed a late Yuletide present of a belated win.

And it was Jason Kimbrough and Brandon Brantley's evenly shared 56-point haul which most inspired the adidas London Leopards to their first win in eight games this evening with a 82-93 success over the Brighton Bears in the Dairylea Dunkers Championship.

Leopards had led early on before a 12-4 run closed out the opening quarter with the Bears ten points up at 24-14.

The tide turned with a 2-20 run from the visitors straddling the third/fourth quarter
break - a 57-65 lead which they never relinquished, condemning Brighton to seventh loss in succession.

Richard Scantlebury led Brighton's scoring on 20 points.
